Namosi Eco Retreat

Live in a communal setting of a Fijian villager

NAMOSI ECO RETREAT
(OPENING EARLY 2016)

Situated in the tropical highlands of Namosi Province, this village retreat has authentic Bures (huts) and Valenikana (dining hall) handcrafted by local people using traditional Fijian building methods.

This eco-village retreat is
“unplugged”

No electronic equipment is used on-site (on-site lighting is solar powered). This small, family-run retreat at Navunikabi village is 1.5 hours from Suva or 3 hours from Nadi, with transport able to be arranged. It sits on the edge of the Luva River in the remote, picturesque mountains. Locals drink direct from the fresh mountain river and join tourists to raft and swim in its refreshingly cool waters.

Experience the Fijian Community life

Navunikabi Village is famous for its rich, mountainous farmlands that provide local produce for guests to eat at the retreat. The village has a strong family atmosphere that welcomes visitors into its community.
