Situated in the tropical highlands of Namosi Province, this village retreat has authentic Bures (huts) and Valenikana (dining hall) handcrafted by local people using traditional Fijian building methods.
No electronic equipment is used on-site (on-site lighting is solar powered). This small, family-run retreat at Navunikabi village is 1.5 hours from Suva or 3 hours from Nadi, with transport able to be arranged. It sits on the edge of the Luva River in the remote, picturesque mountains. Locals drink direct from the fresh mountain river and join tourists to raft and swim in its refreshingly cool waters.
